About HipHugs
HipHugs is here because I believe every mommy and daddy should be able to make informed choices about diapering
alternatives and toilet-training their precious little ones. I stumbled upon modern cloth diapers while researching
on traditional remedies for common childhood ailments like skin rashes and eczema. As all my 3 children were still
using disposable diapers, I was curious to find out more about other leak-proof alternatives. As I looked, I was
pleasantly surprised to discover that cloth diapers have evolved from those troublesome fold-it-yourself plain
diaper cloths and pre-folds to these gorgeous looking, leak-proof cuties of today.
I have to admit that I was initially skeptical about the leak-proof claim. However, all those scary stuff I read
about the hidden dangers of disposable diapers drove me to try them out anyway. Now I wish I had known about them
earlier. Today’s modern cloth diapers are nothing like the clumsy of yesterday.
What Our Precious Ones Have to Say about the BumWear Range of Cloth Diapers
Anthony (age 5)
"So cool and soft... just like underwear"
Elise (age 3)
"So pretty, mummy... It doesn’t fold in and irritate my bottom"
Adele (age 2)
"No more itchy itchy bum bum"
Note from Adele's Mummy: This little darling tends to get rashes on her upper thighs with disposables
Why I Love the BumWear Range of Cloth Diapers
1. Mummy is happy when precious are happy
2. Seriously, I feel better knowing that I’m not exposing them to toxic chemicals in disposable diapers
unwittingly. Call me paranoid if you want.
3. No more the waste-not-want-not dilemma when it comes to disposables that remains dry after use. They are
a waste to throw but unhygienic to reuse. Reusing is like wearing underwear for days without washing... yikes!
4. I know that my new sofa set and mattresses are safe from potty training accidents without delaying potty
training to a later time
5. No more lugging big packs of different sizes diapers when shopping for groceries
6. Now that I have saved those $$$, I can give myself a treat.
